Has anyone installed any of those snap together style Garage flooring? I am deciding between vented and non vented. I have a small garage but just got it today and want to install the flooring. It cant be permanent because I’m renting it at my APT complex. Also need help with lighting and power management. I have one outlet on the ceiling. Anyone got ideas?

You can add florescent or even LED Lighting on a ceiling that will just plug in to your overhead outlet. Attach to the ceiling however you like. I use the 4' double bulb florescent shop lights in my workshop. I hung them by small gauge chain and they also have pull chain on/off switches.

If you can find the breaker panel and determine what amperage that outlet can handle. Go from there. Most likely it's a 15 amp max outlet.

thats a good idea, do you have a hard top removal setup? I’m kinda tempted to say screw it and just drill into the ceiling and walls and putty and paint when I’m done

Yeah it's easy to patch little holes so don't sweat it. No-one is going to look that close at the ceiling anyway.

No, I don't have a top removal rig yet. Just my two adult sons that are 6' 4" and 6' 2". I do plan to build my own top removal system soon though.

I am a whopping 5’5” and my fiancé isn’t taller lol, taking the top off is an event in its own. I’ve seen the rigs go up pretty easy and cheap doing it DIY

Yes I have had Racedeck and Swisstrax. Get “ribbed” Swisstrax. Racedeck is junk. Is expands and buckles as the tiles are not as thick as Swisstrax. If you call them directly you will get a discount. As for the lift we did the Racor lift with Topsy straps we couldn’t be happier it is the most affordable lift without going DIY Got it on Amazon

Love the flooring, if you don’t mind me asking what rear bumper is that.

It’s all LOD. Many folks will always brag about their mods they got. I will tell you like it is. Save your money. Especially if you have and want your rear parking sensors to actually work. They don’t with their stuff and they just don’t care that they advertise their bumpers are good with parking sensors but they are not. Plenty have the issue and they have zero solution. If you don’t care about that then go for it. Looks are subjective but quality it good. Some have had issues with their powder coating flaking but I did my own so it is still perfect.

Thank you. Rock Monster Hutchinson beadlocks. I like the RSE sliders now. I got one of the first sets and had quite a few issues with them. All the bugs are worked out and love them now.
