You can get that anywhere from gathering parts for the build to it has already been built.

I think I hold the record for being stuck on storage limbo. Been getting the "fully built but held for additional inspection or delivery" line since Jan 15. 🤷‍♀️

To be fair, my build did complete faster than a lot of people who ordered before I did. But we're all at the same point now, so doesn't really matter.

My worry is how this will negatively impact my battery longevity compared to others. Not sure how low of a charge my pack is sitting at, but lithium doesn't like to sit for prolonged periods above/below a certain sweet spot, and I rather doubt anybody is properly tending to the state of charge while in storage. Suspect this sitting around is causing irreversible harm to my battery pack, however small/large that may be. :(
Don’t worry about the battery. My Pacifica sat for 5 months in storage in 2017 before they finally released them. Haven’t had a single battery issue in four years. It will be fine

Well maybe FCA will throw us a bone for being patient like they did with the Pacifica PHEV. We were all so upset they offered a free level 2 charging station or an additional $500 off. Maybe if we bombard Jeep Cares with enough complaints they’ll make us a peace offering. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Take the $500 off if they do. You can get a federal rebate for 30% of the cost of the charger and installation.

Hopefully, They are really checking our rigs out so we have the ultimate quality product they can offer released to us. I'll take that over $500 bucks anyway. Heck, that's less than 1% of the build sale price!

These "they should give us..." ideas were also tossed around during delays in some of the earlier options, like the power top that ended up being an epic wait. I asked my dealer to reach out to the regional rep and ask about any kind of concession. They added 2 free oil changes to my Jeep Wave. So if things follow the same course we'll get emails entitling us to a free battery charge....

This theory has been floated several times before. And while I really would hope you're right, I'm just not buying it for several reasons...

1) There isn't a manufacturer in the world who does weeks and months of a post-assembly checks on a vehicle. Supercar and hypercar manufacturers don't even do that level of quality assurance checking. I'm supposed to believe that Jeep suddenly cares that much? The track record would suggest otherwise.

2) I've been bugging Jeep Chat every day (sometimes twice a day) since mid-January. They've been giving me the same line about "held for additional inspections or delivery purposes" since then. Tellingly, they've also slipped quite a few times with the follow-up line: "Rest assured that at Jeep, we take quality control seriously". Instead of "Jeep", I've gotten several other proper nouns: Stellantis, FCA, even RAM and DODGE. This tells me that "Jeep" Chat is really just a shared customer support resource between several Stellantis/FCA brands, but more importantly that this is a canned response that they use regularly whenever there is a delay.

3) There is no magic to testing hybrid batteries. For example, with a phone app (Dr Prius) and an OBD II reader, you yourself can dig directly into the status of every single cell on any hybrid or electric Toyota ever made and extract more data than you'd know what to do with. Surely a manufacturer would have even more advanced diagnostics at their fingertips. Further, any independent battery specialist shop can also physically test battery packs in a matter of hours. As for testing the other components, I can't see how inspecting them on a fully-built vehicle makes any sense whatsoever, short of putting each and every car through a complete and rigorous testing cycle -- and I'd bet a lot that that isn't happening, as that'd be approaching the testing/development/production process completely in reverse.

Again, for the sake of my worry-free enjoyment of my 4xe, I really want to believe that it's been going through the world's most stringent quality control process for the past several weeks. But all rational logic tells me that's just "the line" they're throwing us so they don't have to explain the real hold-up.

This does seem to happen whenever a new powertrain comes out. I didn't experience the diesel introduction, but I was involved in the waiting for the 2.0 when it was first available for ordering. The thread was very similar to this one. After months of waiting, my dealer ended up offering to put in an order for a 3.6 too (since my lease with another brand was coming to end). The new 3.6 order was built and at the dealer within a month. The 2.0 didn't get to the dealer until a month after that.

I'm really beginning to believe it's the MPG issue since many have their build sheet but no sticker!
I just got my build sheet today (finally!), about a day after escalating a case with Jeep Chat!

Exactly what happened to me. Shouldn't have to be like this!

Soo, what Happened to the 25 mile electric only 400 mile estimated range and 50 mpge rating they were advertising during the ordering process? I hate to see the range reduced, my other vehicle has a 465 mile range so I will need to re-adjust fuel stops when going between Nevada and the Oregon Coast I guess.. over 10% off on the electric should have been easily calculated closer. It will be interesting, my BMW x3E is rated at 18 Electric only and even when I baby it I can only pull off 15-17 in 50 DEG weather. I'm r
Whether you want to take off-road adventure to new places or simply get around town on all-electric power, the Wrangler 4xeis ready with a manufacturer’s estimated 50 MPGe rating( Disclosure1) and E-Selec driving modes that enable you to optimize performance on every ride.

eally more interested in the torque and power on the Rubicon but what the heck?
