Took my 4xe Rubicon into dealer ship this week after having the clicking as well. The person in front of me was there for the same problem on a 2021 Wrangler.
The person at the service counter said the clicking is “The 2021 Wrangler problem of the year” and gave the impression we were...
If it helps, this has been my highway experience with my 4xe Rubicon.
At the start of July I returned to the office and started commuting 20 almost all highway miles each way in moderate to heavy traffic. I’m able to charge at the office so full battery in each direction.
In those highway...
Figured I would share. Last weekend got CEL on Saturday and was able to have it checked at the dealership Monday (they were awesome about that). With no driving (only charging) until it was time to go to the dealership the CEL was gone Monday morning.
If it helps anyone, this is what the...
Today marks one week with my 4xe and I’m loving it.
However, the Info page in the Uconnect app has no data. I am wondering if anyone else is having the same issue or if there is any advice to get this working.
I have an iPhone 11 with the latest version of the app.
I tried loading the ’Info’...
Which phone mount/holder did you go with? From pictures it seems the tray in the dash is different on the 4xe to accommodate the charge indicator. I’m curious to know which may fit there or be somewhere else and minimally block vents, buttons, etc.
Is this the right one for Tesla to J1772 charging? Not that I plan on regularly sitting for just over 2 hours but we have about 8 Tesla super chargers less than two miles from the house so it’s not out of the question I would use them if I could from time to time. If anyone can confirm if they...
Yeah, don’t forget tax. I’m looking at just under $5K tax on my 4xe here in CT. It’s out of control!!!!
The rate is 7.75% on any new cars over $50K.
C’mon, tease with knowing which mods can work with a 4xe and then psysch, wait for 4 months to find out... your’e killing me!
I didn’t realize there was a Jeep week in OCMD, that is pretty cool. How big does it get?
As far as I know, it is for the tax year the vehicle was purchased (it is possible to amend a prior years taxes if you did not claim the offset the year the vehicle was purchased)
There is some fine print here too. The tax credit can be up to $7500 based on what you owe Uncle Sam. For example...
Going out on a limb here, but could 5251987 be a nod to IEEE standard for electrical substations given this is the first foray for Jeep into an electric wrangler? ;)
IEEE 525-1987 - IEEE Guide for the Design and Installation of Cable Systems in Substations

The purpose of this guide...
In the old days (for me anyway) it took longer to order a toy from the back of a comic than it is taking to wait for my 4xe, so I'll take a few canned messages over a longer wait.
;)
I’m still in. This will still be a beast (IMO) and MUCH better than the mpg on my last two Wranglers. With a 20mi commute and chargers at the office I’ll still be quite happy with the range and still be great for when I’m off road.
I got this from Jeep chat last night "I am showing that your vehicle is in the stage prior to being released by the plant". When I asked if that means it is in storage ready to ship, the response was that they cannot share the build code and it could be for quality inspections or delivery...
