So I wanted to replace my factory halogen taillights with the factory LEDs. I’ve been reading threads and unsure whether I will need a dealer flash or not or if anyone has ran into problems.

Just did it on the wife's 21 Willys. Bought THESE . They look and work great. Plug and play.

Thank you for your response! I just had the dealer put on the factory fogs and headlights and I couldn’t be happier! I wanted the back to match as well so I am going to upgrade the taillights. I’ve heard bad things about the reverse lights as they are really dim. Is this true?

I've got a 20 Rubi and it has the factory LED tails. I never really noticed an issue with the backup lights, nor did I on the wife's 21 with the new LED's. (the wife's came with LED headlights and fogs, but incandescent tail lights) Of course, more light is better. If it were a real issue, I'd just add a small LED cube to the back.
