I picked up this used AFE exhaust and it looks like the previous owner didn’t have the clamp in the right spot and compressed the tube. Any chance of fixing it or cut my losses and get a new one?
Hard to tell from the pic but hopefully you can see the imprint of the clamp in the tubing

An exhaust shop can use an expander to get it back to the right diameter.
They also sell expanders, but the cheap ones don’t work so well.

I can’t even get it started onto the factory exhaust, so I think that’s really the only option. Even dropped the sway bar to give me some more wiggle room but no dice.

autozone will rent you (it’s free when you bring back) an exhaust expander and that should handle the issue

Thanks, but I already sent it back to Amazon for free. It was a "warehouse deal" but not a good enough deal to drive 20+ miles to autozone. I'll just get a new one that wasn't messed with, I think the previous purchaser bent the hanger too.
