Wanted Sunset had to settle for Baja. I loved the Mango Tango. I have to see the Punk'n in person before I can say which one I like better. I did not like the orange they did back in 2011 or 2012? I forget the name but it was a bit of a copper color to me more than a real orange.

And it’s hard to believe that my wife was also considering Tank Green at the time. Talk about 2 totally different looks. So glad she picked the Sunset Orange. She’s never looked back.

I like the Tank Green too just like the Sting Gray. I actually like all the colors. I would not pick black or the silvers simply because there are too many vehicles out there in those colors. Only certain vehicles can get away with bright colors and others that are unusual. Thankfully Jeep is one that can pull those off.

Take for example the Subaru Crosstrek. They offered that in orange and I think it looks hideous on that vehicle.

Yeah, I hope so too that my wife likes the punk’n in person. Never ordered a car before either, especially without knowing what the color looks like.

Moved from D1 status to D status this morning. Contacted my dealership to see if they are hearing anything. They couldn't tell me anything definitive, so moving on. Saw a Bright Red JLUR during my drip to Houston over the weekend, but it had tan interior. Had the dealer do a search and they found the fame unit with black interior. Going to do a dealer trade and should have my JLUR by the end of the week! Guess I'm no longer part of the Punk'n club, but I'll look forward to waving to everyone!

Like I mentioned before, I never ordered a car before, so you can get your deposit back no problem? Or get another car from them? I figured, if you ordered a car and changed your mind, the dealership would be stuck selling it. My dealership made me put down over $1,000 deposit on the punk’n I ordered for my wife.

Really it is up to the dealer and what paperwork you have signed. I know my dealer wanted $500.00 for a deposit and said if anything changes they would work with me. Now I am sure if I wanted to buy off their lot or put in another order yes I would preserve my $500.00 deposit. If I wanted to walk away all together I am not sure to be honest.

They didn't make me put a deposit down, but still trying to buy from the same dealer.

My wife had a Mango Tango which I loved but my favorite is Copperhead Pearl (if you consider that Orange)
