Depending on the local laws and resource management codes driving the vehicles into the lake is going to be WAY more expensive in fines then having the boat be submerged.....

Money can buy a lot of things. I even argue that it can buy happiness, at least temporarily.

But it can't buy common sense, life skills, and brains. Those have to be earned/learned. Often doesn't happen when born with a silver spoon up ones ass.

I don't know, thats a 300k + boat...
I'm aware but you have no idea the fines for oil spills in waterways and more. Then fines for illegal vehicles in lakes, ect.

The boat is insured and has coverage for gas and oil spills most likely. The cars would not and be considered negligence for willingly driving them into water. So min for vehicles is like 100k and fines be huge...

Did you notice that the woman trying to save the other sinking boat appears to have the man behind her dead eyed locked and checking out her poon?

I can understand the Ford being in water, flooded and needing a tow truck. The Jeep though... that’s just dumb.

The article’s “lost an intake water hose” is code for “forgot to put in the drain plug”.

Grew up on a recreational lake - had many hours of entertainment watching the boat ramp thwart weekend mariners...

Trying to get close enough for the winch.......... WTF, they never heard of tow straps? Not sure what the fines will be. In Michigan, a snowmobile through the ice can easily cost up to 10 grand for fines and recovery.

Yep - a dumb mistake multiplied by drowning a couple vehicles. Alcohol may have been a factor? My nephew did the same thing but managed to get the boat loaded on a trailer which he proceeded to tow up a boat ramp (hull full of water). Blew four trailer tires and rear tires on pick up.
