I’m shopping dealers right now. Is that 48,933 including the doc fee and $200 lug nuts?

The 48,933 just the Jeep. The lug nuts, tax, title and doc fees were extra.

They were $175.94 which I "guess" isn't too bad. The last two vehicles I purchased in 2012 and 2014 were $160 and $166.27 respectively.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to throw out a quick review for Kim and Superior. I ordered a JLUR with a few extra options (auto trans, led, tow, infotainment, painted fenders, and premium soft top). Turns out my Jeep was the quickest one she has had built so far (she has ordered 41 total).

Kameron, her sales associate, picked me up from the airport, drove me to the dealership and processed all the sales paperwork. The numbers were EXACTLY as we discussed when I ordered. There was no bait and switch, no upsales, and no pressure otherwise. They didn't even try to sell me an extended warranty.

They are 100% legit and 100% professional. My Jeep ended up costing me right at 7.01% below invoice. I couldn't recommend them more. If you want a great deal with a no BS experience then this is where you need to go. Any other questions? Ask me here or PM. I'll answer as much as I can.

Decided to pull the trigger and order JLU Rubicon in Firecracker today from Jason Beltran over at Tyson Motors near Joliet, IL. Admittedly I was skeptical when I first heard about ANY dealers dropping their pants to move a totally new model but after trading e-mails with Jason and stopping in today I have to say it’s the real deal getting it for 6% below invoice. That definitely helped ease the pain of a little with the recent $750 vehicle and transit increase. MSRP on mine clocked in at a gut wrenching $55,460, but my price was $48,933.xx with the only “gotcha” really being a set of $200 locking lug nuts which every vehicle on their lot gets hit with.

I was surprised how painless the whole experience was considering I’ve not had many good dealer experiences. Even working out the trade in value on my 2012 JKU Rubicon was simple, gave my VIN # along with some pics and he came back with $25,500 which was the best of any dealer I was working with.

So now I wait, wait and strip off all the mods on my JK but the Synergy lift which I’m leaving installed.

Another follow-up question- how were you forced to buy $200 worth of locking lug nuts? This is clearly a dealer add-on. Did you try to decline? Not to be petty here, but $200 bucks is $200 bucks, and I live in Mayberry. Besides, that’s what insurance is for. A quick internet search- this item is $40.

Finally found a decent dealer in Oregon. 1.5 hr drive but that is okay. Finalizing paperwork tomorrow, placing deposit and ordering. I'll post numbers when its final.

Had a closer dealer that I already worked out all the numbers with. I went today to order, all of a sudden they wanted to pull credit before I ordered. I told them nope I'll apply when it comes in and walked. Don't understand that thought process, it's not like I'm ordering a Ferrari. Not to mention I'm putting a big chunk down as well.

Still trying to decide on wheels, both look good. They will be a last minute choice.

I posted Rt.4 Paramus is doing invoice minus hold back which is a bit over 3% but high doc/bank fee.

Current tax in NJ is 6.625% since we got the gas tax, our current Liberacho governor is already talking about hiking it back to 7% tho...

You will pay tax to the state in which the vehicle is registered to. So dont matter where you buy, if you live and register it in NJ, you will pay 6.625% sales tax.
