Sometimes stubborn determination is not the way. The short lived hit to your ego by stopping or turning back is sometimes the smartest decision…I know this first hand.
I’ve taken that self imposed hit to my ego more times than I can count. Some still bother me but I made the right decision at the time.
I was in Basic Training with a few fellows who had never seen snow before. Their Oohs and Ahhs as they witnessed a passing squall while we were in the barracks remains a clear memory to this day.
The gov regulates enough of our lives, the last thing we need in more licenses.
I mean look at how much common sense and safe driving exists on our roadways due to written and practical driving tests. Certainly off road licenses with testing would solve something, right?
