I have a two door JL and I bought my husband a two door Bronco. While I think it is nice, I don’t think it’s as capable as my Jeep and just doesn’t feel as indestructible.

@earthgirl is a good wife! My wife and I are empty-nesting. I think a 2-door Bronco would complement our 2-door JL perfectly.

Seems this conversation has been had, maybe a hundred (thousand) times already.

Anyone not know the difference between SFA/IFS off road? Anyone not know the pros and cons of a solid axle (front or rear)? Why does the Bronco have a solid rear axle, anyone not know?

He's right, guys. Time to shut down the forum. Last one out turn off the lights.

I do not know why it has a solid rear axle, I’m guessing it’s a truck/suv thing but idk, I’m stupid.

SFA vs IFS? Maybe...
A retired Army Ranger I know told me that the HMMWV is a blast to drive.

My experience is that:
-the unarmored one's are decent offroad/on road...jsut keep it under 40mph.
-the armored ones break/fail/catch fire for any number of random reasons (5 tons of armor). If you by some miracle get it to 55MPH on the highway it drives/feels/handles like you are re-entering the atmosphere in a metal trash can.

The wife wants to get a four-door Bronco. Every time she sees one she says how pretty they look.

While I agree they do look pretty, I'm still trying to convince her that we need to get her a Toyota Land Cruiser instead.

I think it'll be a lot easier to get her interested in the Land Cruiser once she sits in one next year. I mean if you're paying for a comfortable off-road capable vehicle, I'd go with the one with the engine that will last 400,000 miles easy... Personally.

Broncos are pretty, but they're no Wrangler.

NO CONTEST WITH THE OFF-ROAD KING!!!
