Yet Another Rotsam Build - 2024 392

The saga continues in the best way. After my last 2024 392 build was declared a total loss, I had a rare opportunity to reevaluate my decisions and make modifications. Not surprisingly, I went with a near identical setup. One thing I did upgrade was the color - from ordinary Black to a pretty stunning Bikini Pearl. I’m not a fan of the red seats, but I couldn’t find a Bikini Pearl in Final Edition, so perhaps a Katzkin upgrade in my future. I also added under armor, bead locks, and a lithium battery along with upgrading the KC lights from Pro6 to Titan. I also upgraded the tailgate table to the AAL versatable - the integrated light and molle panel are really nice.

All of the shop work was done at Jeep Masters here in Austin. They are awesome, and are in the process of doing a twin build for my wife’s Tuscadero 392 Final Edition. If you are local, use them.

My favorite mod is the combination of the CMM Offroad mirror mounts and the Threedom model M fob replacement. It’s the best place to keep your keys:

Wasn't there a guy on this forum a few weeks ago fabricating something similar to sell. Interesting that these eBay ones exist, I'm interested. Also, amazing build, looks really clean.

I'm trying to get out to Moab in May. I think it'll end up being a last minute thing and I just jump in the Jeep and go.

No plans for Texas again though.

That all looks expensive. Very sexy. My Metalcloak kit arrived today...I'll see it Thursday.

This. In other news— we he’s about to repeat this exact build on my jeep as of this Wednesday, so hopefully I’ll have a build thread duplicating this in about 4 weeks

Interesting! I wonder if they sell them in the non minivan variant. I only swap doors a couple times a year but these are intriguing.

Does the ring not interfere?

This is a heck of a build! For pure curiosity, not including the cost of the 392, how much have the upgrades cost?

To be fair, I didn’t really shop for a discount, but all in it’s about $50k per.
