That's crazy.

Just hit 63,000 miles with my Jeep and no major failures yet.

Do you ever use DEF additives to help lessen the crystallization?

I've been doing that on and off for the last 40,000 miles and my pump seems to be going strong still. :captain:

Also you're in Florida, why haven't you stage 2'd it yet??

Sure you would have spent $600 more than what you did there, but you wouldn't have any further exhaust/def issues issues.

I've been using Buccees since birth>have NOT used any additives>other than trying Rislone after problems started>still unsure about additives
Regarding a delete>NOT happening until Jeep reaches 100,000 miles when my factory warranty has expired
and no such thing as a delete for $2k in FL
I hope u have continued success>my experience is a defective DEF pump>happens and move on with life
Best wishes

Flushing the pump with a solvent to remove a possible flow restriction wasn't an option?
The only thing that's not made specifically for a DEF system that has a near zero chance of negatively impacting it's performance is demineralized water. No solvents, no cleaners, no anything unless it is specifically made for use in a DEF system.

This is like saying you shouldn't leave Drano in your plumbing all the time. I'd agree with that.

I work with these things daily..... Once an incompatible fluid is introduced it will never be able to be completely flushed out and clean. This is true for the pump and the tank.
