Unfortunately whatever software this forum uses to embed jpegs it mutes the color. These pictures are more vibrant although I kind of like the moody look.

Its the internet - is what it is..

We used to live by the south entrance > those pictures make me miss that area so much. Lots of fun, easy offroad trails up to the Sierras just east of Bass Lake.

Well, did you end up buying chains for your trip? At least on my tablet the pictures are beautiful. Slightly desaturated, how I best like them.

I was really hoping for snow. It was nice weather in the 40’s and 50’s but no snow. So there wasn’t a lot of color like October.

I did. They were the wrong size so I didn’t even take out of the package. I’m going to return them.

Great photos @Av8Chuck , I'm glad you had a nice vacation.
I was fortunate enough to have made it to Yosemite & Yellowstone one time in my life. I hiked Yosemite falls and Bridelveil.
