Just curious, how many times a month do you usually get to go off-roading, and for how long?

It feels like everyone is out wheeling all the time. Are you guys mostly doing weekend day trips, or actually finding time during the week? How do you manage to fit it into your schedule?

With these fuel prices? Not often.

I hope that next year is better. The last six years have been rough as hell.

I typically go to one of two local-ish offroad parks about once a month. So far six times this year. I do same day trips, no overnights.

Until a few weeks ago, I would try to get out with my Jeep club at least once a month for a day trip. Usually local private properties we have access to through members and organizations.

That said, i'm probably not going to get out much until I get some skids on the new-to-me 392. And those babies are EXPENSIVE. Going to try to see what I can do.

I probably average 3 to 4 day trips in the Sierras or Coastal Mountains per month. These are Forest Service roads trips, not the Rubicon or Fordyce Trails.

I usually take 3-4 "trips" a year to Moab, Sand Hollow, etc. I try to hit dirt every week though even if it's just cruising on a dirt road but it doesn't always happen. I love to drive my 392 even on the pavement and just take off and drive it 2-3 times a week to nowhere. It's a 2024 and has 69,000 miles on it already. With the doors off it gets a little hot this time of year but I still love to do it.

Not as much as I want. There’s very few real trails near me. What we do have I try to hit at least a couple of times per month. I do a few weekend trips per year and one big trip out west every year. I do tend to find random areas to check out on my road trips between Iowa and Wisconsin, usually fishing holes.
