why is the rubicon wheel 17” and sahara 18”? i thought the rubicon would have bigger and wider tires? i’m guessing the 33s i want to buy are going to be a few dollars more for the sahara than the rubicon, correct? i think i read that they make 33s for an 18 and you can put them on a sahara without a lift, correct? thank you for any info

For off road smaller wheel and bigger tire side wall is preferred especially for airing down, hence Rubi with 17's, for street the larger wheel and smaller side wall better street comfort. 33' are fine on a Sahara no lift required, however really think this through 35's are the mosyt common for Sports and Sahara's however you should l lift. A great option look on Craigs list for Ribicon Take off wheels and tires generally $1000-$1200 for all, they look great on a Sahara or Sport. If you want you can get a 2" spacer lift installed for about $400, this is a great affordable combo fr a Sport or Sahara.
