XK Glow Amber Vent Light Install - Wiring Help

Today I swapped out my 2020 Sport S halogen fenders with painted Sahara halogen fenders...No problems there, new fender lights and turn signals all seem to be working fine...

I also installed the XK glow Amber vent lights that are supposed to function as running lights and turn signals...I can't get them to work correctly. The XK glow instructions indicate the XK red wire goes to the BG/OG Side marker wire in the jeep wiring harness, the XK blue wire goes to the WH/BG Turn wire in the jeep, the XK ground goes tot the black jeep ground wire, and the 12 v white wire goes to the battery...XK mentioned on their youtube install video that you can tie it into the jeep WH/OG parking wire(I did this). In their install video it also looks like they tied the white 12 v wire into the red XK wire...

At the moment my driver side always has the vent light illuminated and it will not function as a turn signal. The passenger side will function as a turn signal but is not otherwise illuminated...They are wired the same, which is why i'm lost...

I did notice the passenger and driver side fender wiring harnesses have different color wires (white/Og vs Bg/Og in position 1), but shouldn't wire positions all function the same?

If I remember correctly...

Try.... wire.....:

The white with orange trace on the passenger side and the white with Gray trace on the driver's side.

Black wire for ground on both..
