I always liked Akitas….. absolutely beautiful dogs. Personalities very much like Shibas - and obviously they’re related. Sorry, 8 years is far too early to lose a friend like that!

Yep, those big dogs have the shorter spans but 8 was a couple too early, and always too early to lose a beloved member of the family
Only downside was blowing coat, but easily worth having such a majestic animal

I guess I have been lucky. We have had 3 Tibetan Mastiffs. The book says that the life expectancy for the breed is 9 to 11 years. I guess our dogs didn't read the book. We got our female when she was 4. She lived over 17 years. Our first male was 8 months and lived 16 years before he gave up. Our current Mastiff is 10 years old and has the energy of a young dog. I guess the clean mountain air and pure mountain spring water is the answer.

Alberta prices a little higher than most other provinces - there’s a much bigger Jeep community here and wages are higher / taxes are lower…. But yeah. And just look at what this dealer is asking for this 392:

Makes me wonder if I should take more care of my rig and hold on to it for life. I can never afford that in my lifetime.

4 door 4xe goes for 43% markup

The base model MSRP is $56,190 and others are asking $80,451. That's a 43% markup.

As in proper news reporting I will actually tell you where I got the numbers from. I compared Jeep Germany to Jeep USA prices. In the end, I was able to make a headline that would make people click.
