So I put full 2022 Rubi suspension on my '23 Sport. I'm not having any issues but a friend brought up that I may have voided some of all of my warranty. We swapped springs, LCU, etc.

It shouldn't void anything unless you go to a bad dealership then try a different one. But you cant be denied for something not related to the suspension because you have Rubi take offs. I had warranty work done on my sport with Rubi take offs. if something is wrong with the suspension then they might not do anything but replace with no Rubi parts. so you just have to bite the bullet if thats the case.

What you changed is not covered, and anything damaged as a result of those changes are not covered. What you didn't change, and what isn't damaged as a result, is covered.

I'm actually selling the Jeep and a buyer was concerned that my changes might void a warranty. If anything ever needed to be put back to stock, I kept all the original pieces.

It can potentially affect your warranty if the modification causes a problem or damage, that specific issue might not be covered under warranty. It's always best to review your warranty documentation to understand how aftermarket modifications might affect your coverage

I just read through my warranty. To the best of my ability, it seems like the only effect these Rubicon parts will have on my Jeep and its warranty is that these parts would not be covered if they were to fail.

Potential buyer wants be to be certain. Which I get, its a '23 with 4k miles, I would want to make sure I get all the warranty I could as well. I found a phone number in the warranty paperwork, its more for disputes I think, but I suppose I can give them a call and see if I can get an answer before the weekend.

thanks for all the responses guys, this place is great.

Yeah, I get that also. Can replace most of those for 500 bucks offer 500 off? Cheaper than returning to Sport? That is for labor mostly Rubicon take offs must be cheap as hell down in the lower 48.

Yeah, I got mine for just under $500 for everything, with shipping. If he really wants to roll it back I have all the original parts still in a box in my garage.

If you're going to give him the original parts, you shouldn't be taking $500 off.

Sounds to me like the guys looking for any excuse to pay you less than you're asking for. Give him the free parts to put it back to stock if that's what he wants, but I wouldn't give him any money off.

There's enough people out there who will appreciate what you've done to the vehicle, unless you're trying to sell it in a pinch and need to get rid of it soon, you shouldn't have any issues selling it for what you're asking, whatever that is, especially if you're offering free parts along with it.

Buyer wants to be CERTAIN? Just that suggestion tells me the buyer actually knows nothing about jeeps, bc he/she would know that there is no way to be CERTAIN of any of this. Honestly so much weighs in the dealership, what day of the week it is, seemingly the time of day for that matter... whether or not mods end up voiding warranties or not.

So I called the Jeep customer service number I found listed in the warranty. I spoke to a woman there: All warranty of the existing parts (that I replaced) is null and void. No surprise that they are not going to warranty the parts that I did not buy from them as part of the Jeep.
They did tell me that if I were to purchase these parts from Jeep, and have a Jeep dealer install them, they would honor the warranty on those parts. Again, pretty much common sense. If I buy it from them and have them put them on, they will honor the warranty of the pieces.

Whether they would be able to use those parts as an excuse for not repairing something else that could or could not be related is not something they could determine ahead of time.
