Does anyone know what this wire/connector is for? I do have the auxiliary switches.

I have no idea...sorry. All the wiring for the aux switches is on the passenger side so I wouldn't think that it's related to that (but who knows??).

Is there a similar harness under the passenger side cowl too?

A windshield de-icer for other markets? Though usually the wiring for these is on the inside.

No there isn't.. I think it is for the forward collision. That's the only thing I didn't want.

It is a secret connector, that the government can plug into. It allows them to track you, and your driving habits. They plan on taxing us(Carbon Tax), for every mile we drive, and it will not allow us to go off road, unless we get permission, from an Eco Czar.
All taxes and fines will be mailed to Al Gore, and other nations who arent as well off as the USA.

No answer for this yet, huh? My dealer doesn't know either. I have the OEM AUX switches as well, and wondered if they are for cowl lights. THAT would make too much sense, so probably not!

I was wondering if I can use this to tap power for my front trail camera rather than using fuse tap into existing circuits like F43. Do we know if this is a powered circuit with an assigned fuse?

If you don't have adaptive cruise, which that cable/connector is used for, it is highly likely that it is not powered.
