Should I be concerned with the routing of the wiring for the winch and lights? Steered clear of moving parts. Just kinda worried about heat getting to it. I know there’s not really a way to avoid the heat the jeep is gonna put off but seeking feedback for my choice of routing. Should it be fine?

If you remove a few bolts you can prop the air filter box up and route the winch and lighting wiring safely underneath the air box. I added fire resistant wire loom and used a couple of clamps to secure the cables at the front of the battery tray for good measure. The wire loom could solve any potential rubbing issues at the grill as well.

I also agree with Terry, under the air box is a lot cleaner. Lots of stuff to wire tie to under there to ensure the wires don't chafe or get too hot, and just a much cleaner setup.
Of course, some people will disagree, but I recommend a cutoff switch for the winch. If the front end gets hit, off-road or in an accident, that huge wire can make a super high amperage short.
I am very picky about my wiring being neat and safe, and everything is soldered with marine grade epoxy heat shrink.
This is what my battery area looks like, and I have a winch with cutoff switch, three aux light hookups, electric steps, electric towing brake system, and battery charge and breakaway switch for towing the Jeep. (I still have the aux battery wiring until the warranty is up)

None... but it pays well.
My concern is the positive/red cable resting against the edge of the metal bumper.
That steel bumper does not give as much gap as most aftermarket bumpers for JL. I thought an OEM steel bumper was a little tight.

Yep I know... Just being sarcastic with the winch guys who complain about Zeon installs. The only reason why I cut a notch in my grill facia was to clear a ground above frame just below the headlight. Later I redid the ground to the EVO ground stud, which I had planned to use in a daisy chain to make an external power cable setup. I'll still use that stud, just won't look as clean.

I think it looks good. Some loom for added protection might be a good idea.

Under the air box is the way to go.

It is super easy to remove the air box. Takes just a few minutes.

I went under the air box as well. Do use loom. And as an electronics guy I would consider at least a manual disconnect for when your not off-road

Get the winch trim filler from Maximus-3. Picked it up with their winch plate and d ring mounts! Very happy with it looks great.
