Windshield Hold Down Bracket

I want to add pops of color to my JLURXR- has anyone removed the windshield hold down bracket??? If so, how did you do that? I can only find replacement part, not a how to video. I prefer to paint them as I do not really care for the plastic covers that go oven them. Thank you!

They’re pretty simple. Remove your hood liner (be careful with the clips if you plan to reinstall it) and there are 2 bolts plus a washer hose connection per footman loop. You’ll see the bolts and washer connector in the pic below, I’ve run without the hood liner for a couple of years now.
