Check windshield fold down bolts. I one that is possibly cross threaded from factory. Appointments at dealer Thursday morning. Hopefully fixable and won’t take too long.

@Marcos .... How did you deduce it was cross threaded? Was it not tightened up .. as in head not down on surface? Or .... you went to take it out and.., etc., etc..

Will help others here if you can fill us in a bit. Thanks!

Noticed the washer on the bolt was loose when I was checking things over. Attempted to tighten, had way too much resistance to go any further. I backed off and drove to the dealership right away.

I hope your dealer wasn't the cause of this problem if they happened to lower the windshield for display, assuming you bought if off the lot.

All the other bolts were tight and looked untouched. Hopefully just a fluke and the dealer can take care of it.

Update ***

As suspected bolt was cross threaded from factory. Dealer tech retapped the retainer, installed new bolt and demonstrated that it ratchets in and out properly. Great service at Griffin Hub Jeep in Milwaukee.
