Anyone experiencing rattle noise from the driver window? I started getting this noise about a week ago and it's most noticeable when the window is cracked open. If it's completely closed, it's a bit noticeable but not as much. If it's all the way down, then no noise.

This happens on mine and has been like that since day 1. It's annoying and I'll probably take apart the door one day and see what's rattling in there.

Did you get it figured out/fixed. My 2020 is doing the same thing. It rattles when the window partially open.

Nope. I guess Iā€™m immune to it now.

From what I heard (asked about this on FB group, as I experience a similar thing), thatā€™s pretty normal for any car when going over a bumpy road. Itā€™s the windows moving in the frame inside the door. They keep the tolerances loose so that when the door flexes it doesnā€™t shatter the windows

I've noticed the same window rattle noise when cracked open on the passenger side. However, I have found if I lower it an inch or so more, I can find a point the rattling will subside. It's a workaround that works for me.

This is inaccurate. The windows are in felt lined channels that absorb shock and flexing. Tempered glass is way tougher than that anyway.

The rattling is often the door latch release rod or the window regulator. With our power windows, there are power cables that may need to be relocated or tied down better.

Worked with my dad in the auto glass business in the summer when school was out and seen plenty of rattles that were never from loose door glass unless it was an older vehicle with worn out window channel felt.
