Hey everyone,

I've had my 2023 rubicon for a year now and never had any wind noise from the driver side, but I had a warranty paint issue that required them to disassemble and repaint the door and ever since getting my vehicle back I've had a slight reverberating wind noise and I've pinpointed it to the triangle piece at the front corner of the window. It is not sitting flush with the door like it is on the passenger side (pics below). If I put a piece of masking tape over the bottom of it where it touches the door (it actually doesn't touch the door its about 1mm away from the paint) it makes the wind noise go away completely. I've tried pushing the bottom of this piece in to try to get it flush and I can't, not sure if I can take it off and reattach it from the bottom up to see if I can get it to sit flush. The passenger side is flush and not only that but the rubber trim pieces behind it are sitting much more flush together than on the driver side so not sure if the issue is the triangle plastic piece is not flush or if the pieces behind it need to be 'more flush' to allow it to sit flush. Trim piece I'm talking about (You can see at the bottom its not flush):

As you can see on the passenger side not only is the trim piece flush but the two rubber pieces behind it are much more flush together/straight than on the driver side. I could of course take it to the dealer and see if they can fix it but this is likely an exercise in frustration and would rather just see if I can remove that trim piece and then maybe jiggle the two rubber pieces into place better before replacing the plastic trim piece.

I don't want to break it trying to pull it off but it seems like it should just pop off?

Any luck getting it off without damage? I have a ‘20 JLU Sport. I had the doors redone recently due to the corrosion issue and now am experiencing the same thing.
