Winch mount plate recommendations.

I have a 2022 JLU Rubicon with a factory OEM steel bumper. Looking for recommendations on a winch mounting plate that will work for the bumper and my winch. The winch I have is a Badland Apex 12,000lbs synthetic rope winch.

I’m running the Warn plate with the OEM steel bumper, there are other options for sure, but it works.

The Grimm looks nice and has a slight angle in it to ease fitting a winch in easily. I'd also recommend Maximus-3.

Disappointed on my warn plate for my 21 Rubicon. The warn plate jams the Warn Evo winch against the grill

This is the same problem I'm having with the Mopar plate and a Warn Zeon. I'm thinking that there is a slight production tolerance issue that some Jeeps just roll down the assembly line in Toledo and the body is mounted to the frame just a touch further forward on some Jeeps than on others. Explains why some people seem to have a 1/8" of clearance and others no clearance.

I, too, have the Badlands Apex 12K winch. I installed the winch plate from Maximus-3. Works great!

Get some winch spacers. Otherwise the handle doesn’t clear.

I installed the Bulldog winch plate a month ago with a Sittybilt 10k X2O Gen 3. Easy install and everything still tight after a month and one use with a long pull.

I used the warn plate with the apex 12k. You can throw spacers under the winch, raising the entire thing up to get the handle to clear, or you can just cut off a little bit of the handle on the winch.

I used the Warn winch plate with a VR 10S Evo and it worked out well.
