Ok guys, so as we know, the Willys sits at stock Rubicon height. If I get the hi rise fenders then I should be able to fit 35s. Right? If that's the case, do I need the rears as well or can the stock rear flares accommodate 35s?
Willys ride on stock Sport suspension. You will need to get the Rubicon springs. I ordered mine through Mopar and purchased the longer control arms as well. Later, I put in 3/4 inch leveling pucks in the front. All I need are the Rubicon fenders and will be set for 35" tires. Be warned that the Sport/Willys axles are narrower than the Rubicon D44's, so you may need new wheels with greater backspacing. There are tons of threads about this.
To run 35s without rubbing, you can go about it few ways.
Rubicon springs and Rubicon flares.
Rubicon springs and 3/4" spacers (daystar spaces)...leave current flares.
Both options might need more offset wheels or wheel spacers.
