Hi all.

Hoping someone can chime on this...

Early build 2021 Sahara Unlimited

Issue: a few days ago I put on a set of stock 2020 JLUR wheels with brand new Kumho AT52s. Stock sensors in the Rubi wheels. Per the owner they were working fine. When I put all 5 on, three of the four pressures/sensors registered on the Jeep/display. DR did not.

Went to 3 shops.

Shop 1 - read all 5 sensors transmitting at 433 but did not have the tool to resolve it in the Jeeps ECU

Shop 2 - referred to by Shop 1. Big box tire shop. Read all 5 like Shop 1 but only had the ability to do up to 2019 Jeeps

Shop 3 -dealer and just left there. They said they cannot read any of them (odd) and would have to take off a tire to resolve it/be able to reprogram. Waited 1.5 hrs to tell me that.

On the way home from the dealer, the display went down to 1 of four tires being read :(

Soo...can I resolve this with the TS508? Do I need a 12-8 adapter I keep reading about?

Thanks all!

I had this problem a while back. You say early model 2021? Before June 7th? You're probably out of luck. Mine looked fine when I installed them and disappeared one at a time over a few days, I think it was the old tire readings still stuck in there because of no updates. If your last one goes away pretty soon, you're probably in the same boat.
I got the TS508 and could not fix it. Tire shop said they couldn't get the right sensor so I got these:

Since I already had the 508, programmed them very easily and had the tire shop (Discount Tire, I think you have them in the 'Ville, great guys) switch them out for like $15 each. They don't have to remove and rebalance, just break the bead and reach in and grab it.
Hope this helps!

Edit: No wait, this is wrong. Just read your post again. Unless your Jeep was build AFTER June 7th, those should be the same sensors. If you still have the old tires, I would try to have someone read one of those sensors to see what it is. Sorry to not be helpful after all 😂

Thanks man and yes...the sensors should be identical on both wheels and tire sets. I got the 2020 JLUR set for this exact reason.

The 508 is coming today so I will report back.

No luck on the 508 :(

So back to the dealer I guess.

The 508 picked up all the sensors including spare but could not write them to the ECU. Odd.
