looking to add a switch panel to the jeep for future upgrades,(air lockers, compressor, lighting, 12v fridge ect.) have it somewhat narrowed down to 2 options. the Diode Dynamics D switch or the voswitch grab handle switch. looking to see what some of the fellow forum members here have used and maybe recommend? I do like the dedicated backlight channels that the diode dynamics offers as some of my BD lights have the backlight and would be nice not to have to eat up a whole button just for that option. But also like how clean the voswitch looks being integrated into the grab handle. so lets hear what you got or what I should stay away from??

From what I have seen the Diode is more versatile but it’s relatively new only met a few with it.
Personally, I went with the Garmin PowerSwitch and an MSD solid state relay. About the same combined price and more flexibility. You only lack the in cabin switches but the phone and CarPlay has worked seamlessly for me thus far and if in a bind the the primary box does have manual switches wherever you mount it (mine is under the hood.)

I know this isn’t popular amongst Jeep people but for non vehicle specific things like this I often look to the Toyota folks for overlanding setups… a lot of good ideas.

I went with the voswitch 6 switch that goes in place of the factory ones. Really like it so far. Easy install and has had 0issues so far

I have the Diode Dynamics. I like it a lot. I thought the dedicated backlight switch was a great addition. It can also be app controlled or even controlled with Android Auto through your screen. Parts appeared to be of good quality.

I have the factory aux switches but the Voswitch grab handle switch is more visible and convenient for things you frequently use.

Just got a Landace wireless 6-way kit for ~200usd. Haven't tested it yet. Will put it on my jeep once I got some time.

I've got the Voswitch grab handle unit, love it. That in addition to my factory AUX switches and I'm set. Visible but not intrusive, very quick & easy to turn a device on/off.

I’m loving my SPod makes hooking everything so easy and you can grow the the number connections if needed, while on the pricy side but I felt that it was worth it

Do you have issues with touchpad vs. Tactile button? I hate dealing with uconnect when bouncing on the trail. Touchpad too touchy for me. Lol

So far no problem at all😁 one other benefit is the touchscreen has a temperature sensor display so I can keep track of under hood temperature and as I have the 2.0 turbo having the Spod controller mounted on the driver side some what close to the turbo that’s a great benefit.

Full disclosure I did have my switch center processor go bad but the folks at SPod replaced it with no fuss and have a 5 year warranty on the replacement, my guess is a known issue with a bad batch of processors but the replacement showed up very fast and customer support was awesome

SPod SourceLT w/mini6. Install and wiring were a breeze. I could have gone with one of the 8 circuit options, but I only plan to run a few lights to it. It’s also controllable with an app.

I went Lasfit for a factory look. It also has a port to plug your GMRS mic into for a clean install.
