I get confused with wheel offsets. I had 17 x 9 XD with -12 offset and at higher speed with the 35s it felt a little weird especially when hitting bumps in the road. I understand that is a characteristic of wider tires in general. And the turning radius was definitely not as tight.

My question is-which offset will give you the close to stock ride quality with35s?

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Your stock offset is in the mid +40s so to keep your scrub radius as close to stock you'd have to get wheels as close to that +40ish offset. That said, to run 35x12.5s you'll need a bit less positive offset to clear on the inside, A +25 would probably be about the best compromise if you don't plan to lift the Rubicon. With a lift it's typically recommended to go further out w/ offset to allow full spring flex, so you start getting into the -12 type wheels.

Thank you. This helps a lot.
I don’t plan to lift. I’ll have to search and see what I can dig up in a +25

Check out AEV. I believe they are +24. I had a hard time finding any others with +24. Also see quadratec. They have some pretty reasonable wheels that are +6, +12 and are hub centric.

Good luck.

I went with some XD's with a 32 offset. i have the MOPAR lift and 285x75 18's and it seems to drive very close to stock.

Got pics of that fit, should be close to what the OP is looking for, except the 12.5 width would be out about 5/8" from yours.

I shouldn't have any clearance issues airing down a 12.5 wide tire with something +18 or +24 would I?
I've seen the AEV borah's pricey but nice.

No you shouldn’t. I am sure AEV has accounted for that.

the AEV's are all +25mm for the JL fitment (Borahs and Pintlers)

you won't have any issues with those offsets. I have 37's and a 2.5" lift and have zero rubbing. you'll be fine

Re: cost, the AEV's are pricey for sure. But the Pintlers (which I have) are $260/wheel, which isn't bad for what you get

Quadratec wheels are a bit less, I believe, and a little more aggressive with the offset (believe they are +12mm, which is the same as the Mopar beadlocks)
