We have a 2020 JLU Willys and we're shopping tires but want to keep the black Willys wheels. The Firestone M/T tires really do suck on frozen, snowy, icy roads and are looking for a year round AT tire. we're looking at BFG KO3's in 33x12.5R17, assuming we're going to need spacers to use the stock wheels with the 12.5's what's the go to spacers for the JLU?
I made the mistake of rolling one of the 33x12.5 KM3's from my TJ in front of her JLU and now I apparently have to figure out how to make this happen on a JLU that I'm just learning about

33x12.5R17 tires will not fit on the stock wheels, which are only 7.5" wide. That tire requires a 8.5" wide wheel.

You can fit 35x12.5R17 tires on stock wheels (the taller sidewall height lets the tire fit narrower wheels).

The widest 33" tire you can fit on stock 7.5" wheels is 295/70R17 (~11.6" wide).

As far as wheel spacers, Spidertrax or Bora make excellent wheel spacers.

Would 11.5's on stock wheels need spacers?

Yes, anything wider than a 285 tire will run on turning unless you adjust the steering stops. If you're keeping the stock wheels, you can run 1 inch Bora spacers -- the stock wheels have pockets that will allow the studs to protrude and still fit.
