Of course, I just stumbled across these, which look nice as well. Anyone know much about Raceline?

Raceline Combat 937 - available in black, bronze, and gray - the gray is not available yet, though. Weight is 28 lbs per wheel. I called the 1-800 number on the Raceline page, and they said the gray will be in mid-April. The rep also said these are hub centric on a Wrangler, but I am not sure about that....?

Pictures of all 3 colors (no purchase link):

Manufacturer specs by size/offset:
http://www.racelinewheels.com/p-1669-937-combat-satin-black.aspx

Example prices (gunmetal currently unavailable):

Here is a photo of the gunmetal gray that has me curious:

What are those and where do I find them? Ha, look great.
"Option K" are made by SCS and are called the K5. Their reps indicate that they are about 25 lbs/wheel.

I should also add that from their site, they appear to be made specially for the Wrangler. Always a nice touch, I think.

Ridgelines - keep in mind, that the perspective on both of these is off from my source file for the Jeep - that give both of these wheels a distorted look that I cant entirely correct. But, it should give you the idea.

Dude, I don't know whether to hate or love you. This is awesome, I'm drooling over these... but then I'm also totally undecided, because they look so sweet.

I think I'm down to the two you photoshopped ("K" - SCS K5 and "L" - Raceline Combat) and "I" - Icon Rebound. It will probably come down to weight, hub-centricity (still confused on what is and what is not hub-centric) and availability. And what the wife says. If you feel like doing one more PS job, option I would be awesome to see, though I totally understand if you don't have time - you've already helped me so much!

THANK YOU so much for the help!

Hah... Honestly the weight on these are all pretty comparable. So basically it comes down to plain old subjective tastes! I have been running the 7069 or similar style for years. I love the simplicity and matte finish. But you gotta go with your gut vs anything else... Download all three images and put side by side.

CANT stress enough that these are NOT that accurate. The ring around the sides get distorted and I am cutting out the inside perspective of the last 2 to make it feel more believable. As well as to simplify with black inside vs show how the brake calipers etc will show through these open spokes. These are quick mocks vs anything super accurate. But hopefully give you the basic idea

Went ahead and ordered a few (“few”) wheels. One of each style to see in person. I’ll pick the one I like the most and return the rest.

Did you ever make your decision?
I did!

I went with option K - the SCS K5.

I would LOVE to post pictures, however I still don’t have my Jeep, lol. I’m a turbo orderer, and none of them have been delivered to customers, yet.

At this point, I’m leaning towards bailing on the 2018 and going for a 2019.

I have 5 of these SCS K5 wheels in my basement, waiting for 37x13.5r17 Ridge Grapplers to go on them.

I can give some feedback on the other options I looked at, though!

Options A and B are the ATX Ravine, and those wheels are really cool. Great price and the finish was very nice. The biggest thing I didn’t like about them was the bolts on the simulated beadlock, they have a gold finish and looked a bit gaudy to me. I like those wheels enough to have considered swapping out the bolts, but in the end decided that I like the straighter lines of the K5 more.

Option C is the Pro Comp Predator. This actually ended up as the top competitor to the K5. IIRC, the Predator was a cost effective option. I took these out to actually do a color comparison next to a Granite, and they were decent but the K5 was a better color match. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the aesthetics of the center cap on these.

Option I is the Icon Rebound. Possibly my favorite wheels out of all of the options. I did not get them out to look at next to a Granite to do a color comparison, simply because I decided I like the look of a 5 spoke wheel on Wranglers, and the Rebound didn’t quite feel right to me. It really is and was one of my favorite wheels, but I think a 5 spoke just looks a bit “tougher” on a Wrangler.

Option K is the SCS (Stealth Custom Series) K5. SCS is run out of California and the wheel is made in Thailand. It’s a 17x8.5 wheel. The finish is great on it. It’s a consistent finish with a bit of texture to it, and it looks great as light hits it. Very unique. One of the 5 wheels I received had minute imperfections - I was almost embarrassed to bring it up for how small they were - but the owner paid to ship the wheel back to Cali and send a replacement out to me in OH, free of charge. They also threw in a pack of their lugs and some stickers for me. The color match to Granite was super, super close in person, though as I mentioned, I still do not have them mounted yet.

Last up was the Method Con6. Up until the point of opening the box, I thought this might be the one. When I opened the box, I immediately decided it wasn’t right. Just didn’t love the finish and lines of it - a bit too glossy and shiny for me, but it was just a stylistic preference for me.

Here are some starter pics - none of the ones mounted or on vehicles are my photos. The ones unmounted are all photos I took.

Thank you for the comprehensive and detailed response. Very informative and helpful. Did you forsee any potential issues with the center opening of each of these wheels mounting over the spare tire/rear back up camera stalk?

They were great! Really liked them - had no qualms. Great price and weight, too. It was honestly tough NOT to go with them because the value is insane, finish was great, and weight was good. I just liked the K5 a whole lot.

The Boulders would have been in the top 5 I think, if I had ranked them. The lines were just not quite what I wanted - not quite straight enough/chunky enough - hard to explain, sorry I can’t do better. Great wheel, though!
