So after I upgrade my tires and wheels, what to do with the virtually brand new stock tires and wheels? Do I have to sell those privately, or will most shops have a way to help you? Should I just consider it a sunk cost of upgrading?

I’ve always sold them myself. Sometimes you’ll run across a shop that wants them, but they usually want them for almost nothing so they can mark them up. Check what others in your area are selling them for, as

FB Marketplace has really taken over for craiglist. Rubi takeoffs normally sell pretty quick.

This forum has it's own sales section too. Never hurts to post them up in as many places as possible. Just be sure to read the posting rules for the classified section here.

I've had the best results with FB Marketplace. Sold my Rubi take-off's in one day. Plus, with FB you can get a better gauge on who you are dealing with.
