I had the Wheels balanced....the Jeep rides better at highway speeds but DW is still present.

Had a particularly nasty episode at highway speed last night..... lasted long enough that I put on my hazards.

This is the first thing to do. With the engine off get someone to fairly vigorously move the steering wheel back and forward over about 20 degrees. Then work your way over the steering box, drag link, tie rod and track bar by placing your thumb across the two parts of each components. If there is play you can feel it under your thumb. It will not pick up an ovalized track bar frame mount hole, so use a pry bar to check that.

Verify your steering gear/box is not moving when turning wheel as in frame twisting. second did you replace the drag link and ends? Lastly I only used synergy parts and after replacing everything and steering gear /box TSB it handled the best i ever drove in a 2door jeep jl then sadly electrical issues plagued mine and traded it in of course after the mechanicals were completed my luck LMAO good luck.

Yeah....this is gonna trigger some people but I replaced my steering stabilizer and no more wobble.

I installed a Teraflex SS a little over a year ago when DW started. It made no difference so I started replacing other parts. Track bar, ball joints, new tires......DW remained.

I really didn't think it was an issue but the last garage I was at said it was leaking. I kept the old stablizer bc I couldn't see any leak and I thought it was still good.

Teraflex sent a replacement free of charge under lifetime warranty and I installed it 2 weeks ago.

I've taken 1-1/2 hour highway trips and hit every bump that used to trigger DW on local routes and it's gone. I still tense up over bridge joints at highway speeds....but all is good..
