I am going to replace the component speakers in my '22 JLU. I picked up Kickers and I am in the process of narrowing it down to a 4-channel amp. The 6-channel amp is out of my price range at the current time. I have 6 speakers to amp (tweeters, kick panel, and soundbar 6x9) but only 4 channels. What speakers would you guys recommend prioritizing for the amp? I was thinking the soundbar speakers and the kick panels speakers. Thoughts?

You could use a component set in the front and run two channels to the front speaker set,

Sorry, I don't follow. I am wondering if I should amp the 4 front speakers, or the soundbar speakers and 2 from the front (tweeters or kick panel speakers) since I only have 4 channels to work with.

Kicker 3.5" tweeters, 50w RMS / 100 max for the front
Kicker 6.5" mid-range, 60w RMS / 240 max for the knee panels

If you set those up with a crossover, you could run one amp channel into the 6.5's and then to the dash. That is how Quart sets up their stage 6 system.

Like you, I have 6 speakers to power (6.5" coax in sound bar(3 ohm), 6.5" woofers in the knee panel (4 ohm), and 3.5" coax in the dash(4 ohm), and I run a 4-channel amp. Since the knee panel/dash speakers are wired in parallel to the head unit, I run them as 2 channels rather than 4. That calculates out to a 2 ohm load, which is in line with my amp. You just need to make sure you don't go below the minimum resistance (ohms) for your amp.

Sorry, just want to make sure have this right. Here is the system that I have in my cart. Will this work?

- Kicker 3.5" tweeters (dash) - 50w RMS at 4-ohms
- Kicker 6.5" midrange (knee) - 60w RMS at 4-ohms
- Kicker 6.5" midrange (soundbar) - 6 to 90w RMS at 4-ohms
- Rockford Fosgate 4-channel amp - 50x4 RMS, minimum impedance unbridged 2

This setup plus the PacAMP Pro will be the complete system (minus the sub which is already installed).

Yes, you will be fine with that set up. The two 4-ohm speakers in parallel will net you a 2-ohm resistance for those front two channels. It depends on which Rockford amp you're looking at, but your front two channels will actually be receiving either 75 or 100 watts vs the 50 watts going to the 4-ohm rear channels. If it's 100, each front speaker will receive 50 watts. If it's 75, they'll all receive 37.5 watts. The images attached illustrate this.

If you're on the fence about anything, the folks at Crutchfield are fantastic about answering questions specific to your equipment and vehicle.
