I know there are 17 million oil threads but I want to make an official thread of the oil YOU run and have trusted / put multiple miles and changes on and plan to stick with. I have found myself torn between the 3 top shelf options and the UOA threads are not helping too much either. Just want a consensus on what the majority of Gen 3 owners are liking without reading way too into things.

Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W-20. Also check out Pennzoil's warranty and their oil change logging website. I also use BG products as well.

You probably don't have a diesel, I'm guessing.

He recently had polls about oil, oil changes, oil filters and many other subjects. Either way, it’s a common question around here so forgive the wise ass comments from us.

Yall are just fine! I’ve read through a ton but wanted to make a thread to leave out all the fluff and just see personal preference instead of 50 pages of oil debates and analysis.

Personal preference for some is to debate and analyze for 50 pages, whether they actually know what they are talking about or not...

I have seen that first hand and learned the hard way lol. 50 pages for barely 2 pages worth of info most times.

I've been on forums since the late 90s. Nothing has changed. The same dead horses continue to be beaten.
