Finally had the chance to take it for a cruise! Took the freedom panels off and drove to Santa Cruz beach boardwalk i was impressed on how it handles the curvy road! Although still not used to dropping two gears on an uphill and I still feel it was struggling to pick up some power but it must have been me and not the Jeep. Also, now I get it. There’s nothing like the open air and sun on your face on a beautiful day with good music blasting.

Chasing fall colors with the wife. Drove from our house in the NE part of Colorado Springs west on Hwy 24 up through Woodland Park to Buena Vista, north to Twin Lakes, then on through Leadville to I-70, back east towards Denver, then back home via I-25 south. Didn’t get off road any, This was strictly a tarmac mission.

I’ve owned my JLU Sport S for 2 months now (first Jeep), and am still blown away with how good it rides and drives! I like manuals, but I’m really glad I got the 8 speed auto. The power delivery while pulling grades through the mountains is fantastic. It seems to give you the right gear at the right time, without a bunch of hunting. I like not having to ride the brakes going down grades too.

I’m a Jeep noob, so I didn’t think to get any photos of it today....you’ll have to settle for some my wife took from it.
