What size tires are you running that you need to regear? I wouldn't go big on a Dana 30/35 combo.
I’m going to 35s sometime this year. Was going to regear to 4.88 for fuel economy and to get some power back. I think 4.56 would be fine but 4.88 is a safeguard in case I go to 37s down the line.

4.88s with 35s will lower your MPG due to running at higher rpms.

I will 100% agree with you. When I bought mine it says Dana 44 on sticker for standard equipment so that's what axel I thought it had at time of purchase. Did'nt realize till later that it got optioned lower with the 8-speed. Not that big of a deal seeing as it should be fine with how I'm using my jeep offroad, but still slightly annoying.
yea I think the 35 should hold up well but it’s hard
I’m looking to do a re-gear on my 2029 JLU Sahara. My build sheet says I have the Dana 1M186 front axle, and the Dana M220 rear axle. Under my optional equipment it says Dana M200 rear axle. Can someone identify if these are the Dana 30,35 or 44 for the rear?

I have seen when most people have had this issue and post their build sheets there is usually some mention of M200.
You can see in this copy of the original sticker the salesman sent me in which he highlighted the points that show it is “obviously stated to not be a Dana 44.” There is no mention of a model number just the misleading use of the term “ 3rd generation axle”
Keep in mind he was as clueless as I was at the time I bought it. He actually read Dana 44 off the sticker as one of the upgrades when I bought it. When I contacted them to ask what axle I had it took him 2 days to figure it out after I sent him a copy of the build sheet I got from Jeep.com and the picture of the axle where it reads M200.
I love my Jeep and I know it’ll handle what I need it for but it definitely feels a little slimy

FCA has made this purposely confusing. The correct answer is from Arterius2:

It's quite simple:
Manual Transmission = M186 front (D30) / M220 (D44) Rear
Auto Transmission = M186(D30) front / M200 (D35) Rear
Auto Transmission with Anti-Spin Differential = M186 (D30) front / M220 (D44) Rear
The base specifications are in the left column. It says Dana 44 HD axle. That is because the optional 8spd was not yet configured. In the right column, it shows your 8spd as being an optional add-on which reconfigures it with a '3rd generation Dana'. Because your JL has an auto, but doesn't have the Anti-spin, it has the M200 (D35), not the M220 (D44). Sorry.

And what you're showing as a build sheet isn't a build sheet. It's the Monroney sticker - very different.
