What are these for?

I can’t seem to figure out what these two guys do. They have a one sided snap button and are elastic material. I skimmed through the manual but didn’t see anything. If I missed it I’m sorry

Maybe to hold down the windshield to the hood? Where did you find them?

They're supposed to be for rolling up your back window on your soft top. There are clips that you snap them into on the backside of the flap inside the soft top.

I've never used them because the plastic channels are very stiff.

These are the windshield ones. They don't come with it though. Costs $30.

If you have a soft top they are to hold your back window up when you roll it , they go over the bar inside the top then you wrap them around your back window and snap em together

Doesn’t the owners manual advise against removing the rear window while the other windows are in? Something about gas fumes or the integrity of the top?

Hmmmm... I didn’t even know these straps existed. Yet another config for our Jeeps??? Back window rolled up?

I’ve had mine for over a year now and I don’t have those straps. Where were they supposed to be? I have a Sahara with premium soft top from the factory.

Mine were wrapped in plastic with the 2 velcro and webbing straps that ho around the the roof mechanism when it's in Sunrider or all the way down position. These were then in back with other parts the dealer didn't do anything with like the hitch cover and tool kit.

Bought my soft top JLU Sport in April and it came with those straps. I thought they were standard on all JL soft tops.

I love that people are surprised by this! My TJ came with these straps and I always had my rear window rolled up. I was glad to see it’s still a thing on the JL. Usually I just take everything off and put it in the garage though.

I wish mine came with those. I got the velcro straps, but not those. Just the other day I was wanting something like that.
