Weird sounds coming from Jeep

Hey guys just bought my first ever Jeep! Was super excited but just curious about some sounds I’ve began to hear after owning for a month and was just curious if it was normal

1. I get a low intermittent whistle sound (like a teapot sound) sounds like it’s coming from the dash around the passenger side, it’s only at idle and low speeds, haven’t had any engine overheat issues or any lights on the dash so I assume it’s not a huge deal

2. I get a electronic whirring sound from front left wheel well, can only hear when against a wall on that side but it goes away at idle

Just curious if these are normal sounds for a jeep or if I need to get a diagnostics check at a shop, was used to a straight piped truck so I wasn’t used to being able to hear anything inside the cab

I think number two is the electric steering pump. I get the same noise. It sounds really rough at cold start up. Only hear it when turning and close to a wall or something similar after it warms up.

Number one - I have a softtop. There are gaps that a cat could climb through in places. Lots of hums and whistles. I have found driving faster or turning the stereo up solves the issue.

The noise always changes in mine. It depends on how fast I'm driving and which direction the wind is blowing. Welcome the "Jeep Madness"! They will always make you smile no matter what noise they make.

Our 2026 has that same noise. Taking it in just to verify there isn't an issue. Our 2021 didn't do that.
