Has anybody run into this sound coming out of their exhaust when they accelerate? It sounded like a heatshield was loose, but I've taken it through a dealer multiple times, to no avail. They've opened up a star case with Stellantis to see if the engineers can determine the problem, but we've yet to come to any conclusions. Any help is appreciated.

If it bothers you, I would happily make an even trade with you. My 3.6 is quiet as a Church Mouse.

Does the 392 have active exhaust valves?

Yes they are active, it tends to happen when they’re in the loud “active” mode but it has also happened while on the closed quiet mode

I went through the same thing with my Hellcat Redeye, it's the valves. After 3 trips to the dealer for the same issue I got pissed and installed Borla ATAK exhaust with simulators (Best thing I coulda done).

Just a thought... but I'd bet it is the valves then, because they automatically open under heavy throttle even when in quiet mode.
