Visor buttons

I’m wondering if anybody else else’s experience this phenomenon,,,

I like the garage door opener buttons on my visor, has anybody ever experienced them not working or barely working, it’s been over a year and a half since I’ve been using them and I’m just wondering if anybody’s experienced the same issue?

Three separate doors work fine, it's only been 8 months though

When I got my 2024 and tried to connect it to my garage door opener, it refused to work.

I found out that garage door opener was installed in 2000, and would never work, so I got a new one and it connected flawlessly. You may need to update yours as well.

Occasionally have issues when close to the garage door. I have to flip the visor down and push the button and it will work. Weird thing is when I flip the visor back up and press the button, it works . I assume it's just a line of site or interference issue. I am not concerned enough to try to figure out anything else since flipping the visor down works.

No issues with mine other than it won’t work when the jeep is not turned on. It’s a safety feature. Other than that mine works when the car is on. My garage door opener is maybe 8 years old so fairly newer.

On my 2018 it’s worked perfectly on 2 separate openers

Mine has been working great since I installed it 4-5 years ago. Controls my door, and one at my father-in-law's place.

Metallic things, like your roof rack, could interfere with the signal. Did this start after you put that on? Does it work better if you put the visor down before pushing the button? Is there anything new around the opener that could be blocking the antenna wire, and is that wire hanging straight down?
