Noticed the other day that neither of the vanity mirror lights work. Checked harness at each with no luck. Without having to take to dealer any idea where this harness runs to get power? I’m thinking the harness maybe not be plugged in somewhere during the factory build and this is the first time we noticed it. We have a JL Sahara.

Loose pin in harness apparently. Dealer addressed today however not sure where this harness connection was for future reference.

My search on this topic came up with just this one thread. I have a ‘21 JL Sahara and noticed my interior console light stopped working. The dealer said they checked and thought it was a blown bulb. New bulb didn’t work, took it back and they said there was a short in one of the bulbs in the vanity lights. I hadn’t even checked those . They “fixed” it, which also reset my garage door setting. All worked for about two weeks. They (console and vanity lights) are out again, although I’ve never had issues with the garage door setting not working. I have another appointment with the dealer to check it out. Obviously, something is causing it to short out, and I’m wondering if it’s the link in the visor for my garage door. Would just like it fixed before my warranty is up.

Yes! There was a short in a wire going to the overhead lights. They replaced the wire and everything has been working.
