I would like to remove my drivers seat so I can properly attach my RC seat covers. It is my understanding that unplugging the harness will result in an airbag fault. Has anyone used JScan to reset the airbag module after a disconnect? Anything special I need to know?

I have a Jscan but no, I have not used it for that. I'm just curious here, why would installing seat covers require removal of the seat? What if you or someone else spills their hot fudge sunday on your seat cover? Under normal circumstances one would simply remove it, wash it, and put it back on. It seems excessive to remove the entire seat to use a seat cover.

Your thoughts?

If power and ground at your main battery (or main and aux if applicable) are disconnected before unplugging the harness, which I believe is standard procedure before doing anything related to the airbags, I don’t see how there could be a fault.

The driver’s seat cover does not fit quite right. I can get it on and tighten it up easily enough. That being said - with very little use - the bottom seat cover has a tendency to slide forward leaving a gap where the bottom and the back meet. Mainly it looks bad to be completely honest.

I’ll plan on disconnecting the battery and - hopefully - that wikl avoid any issues

So, if you are removing your seat and not powering up your Jeep while the seat is removed, there should be no fault codes generated. I have had the seats out of my 2018 Rubicon several times and never had a problem. Just make sure that you reconnect everything before powering the Jeep up after you put the seats back in.
