Not a lot of 1500ās out here...and real Jeeps only have 2 doors!Exactly. The Gladiator is an overpriced gimmick as evidentby 40 of them sitting at my local Ram/Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler lot collecting dust. .....Just get a Ram 1500. You will not be disappointed and where in the hell is my 2 door JL Moab??
cool. But can it douche bag park on the snow bank at the mall parking lot?Not a lot of 1500ās out here...and real Jeeps only have 2 doors!

right....but the real question: should you wave to a JLU???I donāt want to lead people on that I just troll here from the JT forum...and itās a 2 door...

I wave to all CJ, YJ, TJ, JK, JKU, JL, JLU, JT Jeeps...but got to say, female jeepers never wave back. Whatās up with that??āright....but the real question: should you wave to a JLU???
We have a few girls waving up here in Golden... but aren't they more into the fast and furious scene in C/S?I wave to all CJ, YJ, TJ, JK, JKU, JL, JLU, JT Jeeps...but got to say, female jeepers never wave back. Whatās up with that??ā![]()
Again, not trying to be a jerk here. But I have seen Subaru's on Black Bear pass. We ran it last year with a fairly large group that included two JT's and a Ram truck. JT owners can say what they want, steep drop off's, boulders, narrow trails, and ledges with high break over can be more difficult in a long wheel based truck with extra overhang in the rear. I am not saying they can't run the same trails as JL's or shorter wheel base rigs, there is just going to be a few more 3 point turns and possible side and undercarriage scrapes.until you need to get it though Needles District or down Black Bear pass.
and bro. You drive a wrangler. Id ease up on the over-priced talk ??
I like these trucks, but the bed decals are really really really really stupid. Please remove it if you make the move. Otherwise it looks like some sticker that really belongs on a toddlers power wheels truck.I may catch a lot of flack with this response, but an upgrade would be a Powerwagon. Iām seriously thinking about it myself....

I always chuckle at Jeep owners' use of the word upgrade. 85% of the time, the word should be "replaced."Got to thinking today. I am in the process of buying a house and i have a 2 door atm. I was throwing around the idea of getting into a Gladiator so that i can still have my convertible offroader while having a truck bed if i needed to get house goodies.
My question is, does anyone know if the JT has the same bullshit problems the JL does? Mainly the corrosion issues with the hinges and the swing panels or with the clutch? I have been effected by both and it seems like these two issues keep popping up and will not go away. I have been on the JT forum and could not find the answers i was looking for.
I would hate to get into another Jeep and have the same annoyances.
I get it. i did it in a stock sahara i rented. Its not a hard trail; its just a narrow one. The squeeze at needles is narrow. There are lots of places youāll drag the fenders and the doors on account of the width of a modern 1500 series truck where a JT fits fine because itās a Jeep.Again, not trying to be a jerk here. Bingobreak over angle and departure angle is the price you have to pay for capacity and cargo space. But there isnt a trail out there that a 4 door JLU is getting up that a JT canāt. If i scrape my steel slider an extra couple times or my rear bed slider a couple times; a few times year so I can have a pick up truck for daily life then -for me- thats a small price to pay.
