We ordered a Bikini Pearl Sahara Unlimited on the 27 Feb. We were originally going to go with the Mojito Green one but when we saw the colour of the Pearl we know we had to have something different. There are 8 Mojito ones floating around the city.
Our dealer told us since it was an option to select we should be able to get it. From what I read it was going to be available in the 2nd quarter of 2019 or as a late release for us up here in Canada.
We have no idea how long it will take to get it, as of today we don’t have the VIN yet and our dealership said it

Probably never happen but a plug in hybrid diesel would interest me. Also design it so that in the event of a major power grid failure you could use the diesel as a generator to power your home. Would also be very handy when a disaster occurs or to power your campsite.

Jeep had a VIN assigned to it on 08 Mar 19;
Received VIN from Dealer on 11 Mar 19;
Registered VIN on the tracking forum on 11 Mar and received notice of Build Sheet and 2 hours later received notice & link to Window Sticker
Jeep shipped overnight on the 12 Mar to Windsor ON.
Carrier able to provide confirmation of vehicle in Windsor and when I was at the Dealership today, the sales manager confirmed that the Jeep is in Windsor.
Now patiently waiting for the Jeep to ship to Kingston
Once it arrives I will post pictures on here

I would say based on the limited production, you will likely be the first in New England to be driving around in the new colour!

A couple years ago VW did a hybrid diesel test vehicle (Jetta wagon IIRC) that was supposedly getting 70-100mpg. I thought that might push manufacturers to explore it more....

Are they making a bikini rubicon, if so will it have a red dash, not sure how good that would look, or maybe the tan dash that comes in the mojito??

It does not have the red dash.

Also the mojito dash is silver, which is what Bikini will get as well.

And the dash is paintable - I wouldn't make a decision on color based on the dash. If I ever get my JLUR, I plan on painting the dash the same color as the exterior.
