I'm a hard-core oil spray guy that gets it every November here in the rust belt. Nice clean heavy-weight oil. Still there in Spring.
No thanks to lanolin-based organic sprays. IMHO. To each their own.
BUMP!Question for folks with Rubicons or Willys:
Did you take your sliders off to protect the parts of the frame/body they cover? If not, do you think it would be worth me doing so?
Also, any benefit to coating the bottoms and body-side of the sliders if I do take them off?
I did not. There is a wand you can attach to the can or sprayer to get into hard to reach places. I use a spray gun with higher pressure and just blast all the nooks and crannies. I’m confident the over spray gets everywhere.BUMP!
