I'm a hard-core oil spray guy that gets it every November here in the rust belt. Nice clean heavy-weight oil. Still there in Spring.

No thanks to lanolin-based organic sprays. IMHO. To each their own.

Question for folks with Rubicons or Willys:

Did you take your sliders off to protect the parts of the frame/body they cover? If not, do you think it would be worth me doing so?

Also, any benefit to coating the bottoms and body-side of the sliders if I do take them off?
