My 2 day old JLU’s Uconnect repeatedly gets a pop up stating, “Uconnect Box Requires Service. Please visit an authorized dealer.” Called my local service advisor and was told that this issue may not be fixable. Called Uconnect and was given 3 options, 1. Wait for over the air update from U29.28 to U29.42 (date of update known, could be December). 2. Forced update to U29.42 at dealership. 3. Replace Telematics Box Module. Called service advisor back and told him what Uconnect told me. He was not optimist that any of this would work and said system could come back worse if he attempted a forced update. He also took a moment to vent about Jeep. Very frustrating! I’ve contacted Jeep and am waiting on a response. Any suggestions?
