Anyone else having problems with the app? I picked my JL up Wednesday night and have been on the phone daily with Jeep, Mopsr and Sirius Guradian trying to get it to work. It will not allow me to log in. I have done ALL the things asked of them to make it work and no luck. Last night they told me it was a website issue with no date as to when it will work...

That app is a POS/PITA. Call them and reset your 4-digit PIN. That’s the only thing that worked for me.

I contacted Uconnect to activate my free services and they wanted a credit card #. What’s up with that? I can’t unlock all the map services, App usage and other benefits that were supposedly for free the first year. Has anyone else had this happen?

Well people let me introduce myself. I have been a software engineer to 45 years. I have programmed at the most basic levels of computer code you can get to. It is called micro code. When i first got my first JLU i experienced a myriad of seemingly electrical problems. Emergency flashers starting for no reason. Stop car open door to clear. Radio changing stations, speedometer varying inaccuracy, switches turning on and off for no reason, blind spot indicator turn on (both sides) with no one around. Again stop car open door. The list is quite long. I assumed at the time all of this was electrical. Electrical that could not be found by jeep. Jeep and i worked out a deal and i exchanged for a new JLU turbo. Things got much better for a week. Then GPS had no signal. This was a hard failure and should be easy to find. It was the radio. it also would not turn off. Jeep fixed it properly by replacing the radio. But after driving my new JLU for a while some of the other things started to reappear just like my first JLU. I started focusing on the Uconnect software and lo and behold I think i can trace most of the issues to Uconnect. I have seen this type of behavior in software before. It usually is the result of very poor quality control. But the GOOD news is, if I am correct, it can all be fixed with uConnect updates. I will just take time. What Jeep needs is a specific location that people can report to Jeep online things they feel are uConnect issues. Then there software people can concentrate on the issue based of frequency of occurrence. I know that is what you go to a dealer for, but if a problem cannot be recreated or is not a hard out, good luck. Most of us will not go to the dealer. Give us an online location to report issues and we all will probably do that.

Wi-Fi and U-Connect do not work at all on mine. Brought it in for repair and dealership was notified that it was a known software issue and that update is expected to be released through firmware over the air (FOTA). Question is, when will this take place? Paying for features that can't be used, doesn't seem right.

I have been on the phone with Sirius guardian. They say it is a dealership. Issue. Mine will not work. Last night I did a test with guardian. No test police came. No one from guardian came through for me to tell them it’s a test. Said I had to take it in. To dealership. Kind of a joke.

Guardian says it’s working. But it is not. Only works about a hour after I drive it.

I Have Blind Spot warning with my 2018 Wrangler JL which works fine, but Emergency flashers starting for no reason is becoming a real problem. I have no desire to take it to the dealer considering the level of ineptness they have demonstrated in the past. Thanks you for your post
