Not sure I’m the only one having this issue but have an iPhone X with latest OS X (11.4) and have the UConnect 4 ( no Nav ) with latest update according to there site, anyway I have paired the phone with the radio and had no issues at all, even deleted it and paired it again multiple times seeing if it would fix the problem but no good, anyway the problem is when I get in I select Bluetooth from the media choice and it plays music from my phone like it’s supposed to but when I shut off the car and then get back in and start it up it forgets it’s been paired and I have to go thru the process again of selecting it again from the media, I know on the Uconncect I had in my Compass it would automatically reconnect with Bluetooth, the Uconnect folks tell me it’s normal but I call BS as sometimes and it’s only been maybe 4x since I have had the vehicle it does automatically connect so does anyone out there have a fix or do I just live with it until they start to play nice together

I also have the X and it always reconnects when I hop in the Jeep. Same radio as you too. I don't play from bluetooth but I can receive and make phone calls and use VR commands. Hope this helps.
Edit: Just noticed I was on 11.3. Updating my phone now and will report if it has a negative affect.

Edit #2: Phone updated to 11.4 and still no issues. Soon after I set the Jeep to run the phone hooked to the Jeep.

Thanks for the info, the phone does connect to the radio so I am able to send/receive calls and use VR commands without issues but in the 2018 Compass I had I could set the media as in music as the default and then every time I got in it the phone would connect and music would automatically start playing from the phone via Bluetooth but not with the UConnect 4, so all features like calls, VR commands, text messages etc... work fine via Bluetooth and even the music works fine via Bluetooth once I select it as the source for music but one I shut it off and then come back and restart the music defaults back to the SAT radio but all the other functions of Bluetooth work except the music so I have to select it again from media as the source

I also have the same issue .. found one work around .. connect Siri to steering wheel control .. after your in the Jeep and Radio goes on .. hit the steering control button and say connect media to Bluetooth .. and Bluetooth will take to your last song ..
