Is there a more inexpensive way to get a tune on my 3.6L automatic than buy the tuner, lol?

this is one of those "you get what you pay for situations," if you cheap out on it you could end up with a cool paperweight

even the cheap tuners don't really do what needs to be done to be properly "tuned"

Ok, so the next question would appear to be, what tuner am I looking for on the 3.6l pentastar auto

i haven't tuned my jeep yet but check this thread out

https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...-gains-on-e85-for-v6-jl-wrangler.53580/unread

I will say when I had my G35 sedan I had a Hypertech tuner, many bolt on's and a viscous limited slip from the 350 track edition higher ratio than stock, the tune was installed last and honestly a real tune from a tuner would have had good or even great results, the hand tuner honestly didn't make much if any of a difference on the butt dyno

If it doesn't come with a new PCM or the requirement to send yours in to be unlocked, it isn't a real tuner.
you are a faster poster than me lol

both of your post went up while I was typing mine

Regarding a new PCM or a way to unlock....Will I pass emissions or does it need to be reset...and, does that then need a new PCM code/unlock or am I reusing the old PCM and how do I know that one, lol, sorry

If you're looking for sounds you can do what I did to my 4xe and add an electronic exhaust sound system. Customizable to have many engine sounds

I want a proper tune (not fake noise), couple problems with that sentence...I don't know what a proper tune is, or where to get it, lol, with me so far? Seriously, tuners are pricey as you know, don't need unusable gear because I was in a hurry....I guess i could airbrush some muscles and a moustache?
